In the last four years I have had two separate issues with sewage coming up through my floor drain in my basement so I was in need of a backflow preventer. I was completely frustrated with the situation and the three other estimates I had gotten from more popular, main stream plumbers. The first two estimates were around the same price but the technicians didn't seem knowledgeable enough about my needs to convince me to use them.
