When I returned he was finishing up with a little boy who got a number of stickers. When they left he took a bite of his sandwich and asked for a moment. I told him to finish his sandwich and we chatted. He told me about his shop and how it came to be. I told him why I was in town because my Momma was in hospice. He assured me that he would make me look good for her. Truth be told, it was the best haircut I've had in a long time. The fact that he was empathetic, compassionate, kind, and funny made it a happy memorable experience during a difficult time. Thank you!“
