Well we are new homeowners and we are new to having a septic tank. The guy we bought the home from is amazing and left us all of the info on the house. So we know that our septic tank was pumped less than two years ago. However we seen a spot in the yard that was more of a puddle than the rest of the yard. So we thought we would check our tank, upon looking (we don’t know anything about it really) we thought maybe it was full (it’s actually at working level). So I called and spoke with Mary Andrus and told her our concerns and that it was pumped less than two years ago. She recommended for us to observe it at this time (since the ground is so saturated from the rain) and we aren’t having any trouble with our drains or anything backing up. She taught us a lot and talked to us for ten minutes! So In the future we will use Andrus for our septic tank services. She could have easily sent someone out and charged us for a service we probably didn’t need but she didn’t.
