What a great couple days spent at Buffalo Trace....we especially loved our Hard Hat Tour with Laurie, she was a wealth of knowledge and had a great sense of humor. We loved meeting Derrick in the reclaimed wood workshop, he was definitely in his Santa element, with no Grinch in site and created some amazing wood pieces
Buffalo Trace has the system down- they make amazing products, have top tier teams for tours, and go above and beyond to help your experience. Since they are so popular you will feel the Fomo of not being able to get all of their stuff. I know I feel that as the day I arrived was not the allocation I was hoping to get and also because of all their specialty product that will never hit the gift shop. That said their basics are excellent! Add this to your list next time you head to bardstown.
Set up an Old Taylor's tour from my husband's 42nd birthday. The tour was amazing! The grounds are beautiful! There's so much history and bourbon making in that land. Also the tickets were complementary. Definitely worth the visit!
