About General Burnside Island State Park

Visitors can enjoy special events such as the Christmas lights display, which features beautiful lights, a festive atmosphere, and visits from Santa and the Grinch. The park also has several newer, clean play areas for children and plenty of places to walk the dog, making it a great destination for families and pet owners alike. The staff are courteous and professional, and the restrooms are kept clean. Overall, it is an excellent and well-maintained location for outdoor fun and relaxation.
Great course with a picturesque setting fully immersed in nature. Tee boxes and greens were in great shape especially with it being November! Staff was great as well! Ill definitely be playing here again.
The week of Oct 16th to that Sunday. Having a great time at General Burnside Island! The only thing was is the campers that was behind us. Their kids ran wild! A couple of them tried to come in our camper different times, with us sitting right there and he even looked at us, and still walked to the door. One of the kids tried to get on the camp host golf cart when they weren't there. One of their kids crapped by someone else's camper, pulled his pants down infront of their 3 girls to use the bathroom. Then that boy flipped off the girls' mother and cussed her out. It's quite beautiful with the golf course on the lake campground. Today, they're setting up Christmas lights all over the park. Beautiful, little expensive. But i'm poor so everything is expensive
