My husband had a wisdom tooth that had broken off with a cavity. We are new to the area and needed a dentist. I called and they didn't have an opening until the next day, I explained the pain he was in amd had been up all night and had taken a vacation day from work to get this taken care of and PENNY who answered the phone got him worked in right then. After seeing him and the xrays and finding out my husband had knee and hip replacements last year the dr felt like he needed to go to an oral surgeon because he was afraid the tooth may break because it was brittle and the roots were curved and it set up infection. Came back here because I remembered it from childhood. Even 17 years later Dr. DeVries is still awesome. I went in with excruciating tooth pain. Even without an appointment they worked me in as quickly as possible. Dr. DeVries found a cracked molar that xrays wouldn't show correctly diagnosed which tooth, gave an honest opinion on what to do and had me taken care of in no time flat. Very minimal pain all things considered and it's healing nicely. First tooth I ever had to have pulled and I can honestly say I think it was about as quick and painless as it could be. It has been 10+ years since we moved from Kentucky but I am here to tell you I have never been able to find a dentist that calms my soul like Dr. DeVries did. He is such a kind gentle soul.. you can’t help but be at ease. God knows I wish there were more Dr. DeVries out there as I search for a close second..
