I came to ProRehab on Scottsville Road after breaking my wrist and having surgery where a plate was installed on my Radius. This was my first broken bone I’ve ever had, and I had no idea what to expect and none of my doctors truly communicated to me how long the healing process would be or what physical therapy would look like. After a full two months of zero to minimal activity for my wrist (being my right hand I was extremely limited in my daily activities,) I was feeling quite discouraged as I prepared to start Physical therapy. At my first visit with ProRehab with Dr. Bethany and Dr. Jana, they took the time to thoroughly examine my current status and effectively communicated with me what physical therapy would look like and reassured me we would work towards reaching my goals and getting my strength and range of motions back to normal. They made me feel heard and reassured my confidence that I could get back to my normal amount of physical activity in a realistic time frame. Being that I was cash pay, they developed a plan with me for weekly appointments and were very flexible working within my budget. Following my first visit I saw primarily Dr. Jana. Between stretches and personalized exercises with her at the clinic and at home exercises, in just 9 visits I am so excited to be back at 99% normalcy! I was so excited being as regular activities like holding a fork and washing my face were challenging prior to beginning physical therapy. I was an extremely active and independent person prior to breaking my right wrist, so being on minimal activity and restrictions was very hard on me. I couldn’t be more thankful for Dr. Jana for helping me gain my strength and range of motions back in such a short amount of time, helping me feel like myself again. I would highly suggest the team at ProRehab for hand/wrist injuries! I couldn’t be happier to be feeling like myself again. ❤️
It is a very well equipped and professional facility
Tyler Parker and Ali have both took care of me over the past couple of months and they truly care and take very well care of you... it is like going to see family....I highly recommend this place especially if you have Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield insurance
