Last week, I suffered the third worst issue possible to glasses - the temple arm snapped clean off at the hinge after years of careful-but-semiabusive use. The following morning I went to MyEyeLab, as they had originally sold me the frames (admittedly a good 3-4 years ago) and I thought they'd be my best start toward a solution Despite no appointment, I was warmly greeted by Missy and Renee, who quickly spotted my predicament and sprang into heroic action. First, we established that unfortunately my glasses were well clear of warranty (which was expected, but I was grateful that was their starting posture). The next option they explored was if they had a duplicate set of frames, but alas, the ravages of time and fleeting fashion prevented that possibility. Undeterred, they continued the search for suitable donor frames along the wall, focusing on low-cost options. Eventually, they had no option but to raid the discarded pile of frames left by satisfied customers. A possible match was found, but then tragedy struck as my old glasses stubbornly held onto the stripped hinge screws. Even this insult was no deterrent to the skills of Missy and Renee, who tag-teamed the problem (skillfully applying the tools of their trade). At least, the swapout was made, and I had clear vision once again! I enquired about the price of this miracle, and was rebuffed - no charge whatsoever! Since I had the time (and no money spent on the repair), I was delighted to be able to continue the visit with a fresh exam and new glasses! The system is semi-remote, but I consider that a plus. The optometrists are necessary to the exam for the sake of prescriptions, but all we really need them for is "better one...or two?" Better to streamline the process and leave the rest to the opticians who are the true miracle workers! Since I am quite blind without my glasses, they went the extra mile to pick out frames similar to what I had, and then went yet farther to work with my wife via videocall to find just the right frame and fit. Truly, Missy and Renee are the best opticians in the world!

Love my first pair of glasses. Donna and Missy were very helpful in this process. From my exam , picking out my glasses and personal attention to detail in the fitting of my glasses. I would recommend Eye Lab to everyone. My son even got his glasses there and was shown the most respect and kindness during the process. They were great dealing with his autistic needs.
