Went to have my blood drawn so I didn't have to drive the hour to Lexington. I was unable to get out so long they canceled the order. The folks at the clinic were amazing, got the order re-input, and helped me while I had a panic attack. My PTSD is very severe, and they did what was best so I could get it done.
I transferred my care from VA Somerset to VA Berea because of convenience. I'm so glad I did! I met with Dr. Bennett for initial patient visit. She took her time going over my medical chart, explained answers I had in great detail. I've always gotten good care at VA Somerset as well as VA Bowling Green, but this care at VA Berea is at the next level!!!👍👍👍
Dr. Williams and his team is the best! It's like a small town doctor but through the VA. The health care side is great. The mental health side is lacking they have never had a caring compassionate psychologist. I hate the mental health care here but love the medical side. Mr. Kirby is amazing as well he is the LPN for medication management on the mental health care side. The front desk seems indifferent they are pretty unfriendly and don't seem to really care about much.
