I have a 2 story house. I originally had 2 heat pumps outside….one for main floor and one for 2nd story. The problem with second story is that it was always warm in summer… heat pump was working too hard to push the cold air up 30ft. to 2nd story. Granted, my American Standard heat pump lasted bout 20 years, but the compressor finally failed. Chris and CADCO came up with a better solution and installed a Trane split system. Basically a heat pump in every room on my 2nd story. The house is so much more comfortable. And each rooms’ temperature is controlled individually. Thoroughly pleased with this install. CADCO worked for over a week to get this installed. They were very professional and knowledgeable thru every aspect of this install. Very pleased.
