About Katy Parsons Golf Club
Katy Parsons Golf Club, established in 1926, is a historic 9-hole public golf course located in a town with deep railroad heritage. The course features well-manicured narrow Bermuda fairways lined with mature trees and large, undulating bent grass greens. Known for its challenging holes and scenic beauty, it attracts golf enthusiasts from the four-state area. Visitors appreciate the friendly and helpful staff, contributing to an enjoyable atmosphere. Many are delighted by the club's dining offerings, particularly the highly praised burgers, which are considered the best in the region. The course is described as basic yet enjoyable, with a few similarities among the par 4 holes. Affordable rates and good rental carts enhance the overall experience. Though the course has faced challenges, such as drought conditions affecting fairway quality, golfers find it a pleasant place to play. With its vintage charm and commitment to maintaining a welcoming environment, Katy Parsons Golf Club remains a beloved destination for both new and returning players.

The course is somewhat as I remember but the way Jeff and his crew have taken care of it is Amazing. Thank you for being apart of some wonderful memories that was brought back to me this weekend!!!
