I attended ACD&W's driving school in August of '22. My brother attended a different local school. We've talked, and I believe that Air Capitol provides not just an objectively good experience but for comparison's sake, the best CDL school opportunity in the area. Instructor Tim Houser is very good -- a natural teacher, striking a balance between an easy-going friendliness and serious professionalism. He genuinely cares about the well-being and success of his students, and does an excellent job preparing them for both the CDL exam and life as a driver. If you're considering CDL school, and if the financial arrangement offered by Air Capitol fits your needs, I can recommend it with confidence. Work for the company is good, too. I hold a high opinion of Jay Danler, the operations manager, the dispatch team, the human resources team, and the rest of the staff that keep the wheels turning. Air Capitol treats their workers very well. I don't think any comparable company would be better to work for. If you're looking for OTR or regional driving work, I would highly recommend checking into this company.
