I've been a regular of DeeDee's for about two years now, and she's consistently great. She gives a reliable and great haircut and is always flexible, honest, and genuinely kind. While there may have been a couple of times the cut wasn't perfect, overall, her work is excellent--and incredibly affordable! For men, a haircut is just $19, or $22 with a wash. I'm particular about my haircuts because not many stylists know how to handle Asian hair, but DeeDee absolutely does. Highly recommend her!
Prompt, listens, and executes well. I've been through countless hair salons, but Salon DD has been one of the best cuts I've had. I have very strong straight black hair. Not easy to work with. I prefaced what I wanted and Miss D cut my hair in less than 15 minutes and gave me what I asked for. Very kind woman and will be back again!
My personal experience with Miss D is that I found her and her assistant to be a delight! She's efficient and very detail oriented.Newcomers should be aware that she's direct and professional but isn't afraid to speak her mind. We exchanged pleasant conversation, which brought up the topic of her running the business for years, and it shows. If it seems like she talks a lot, that's just her being accommodating and trying to establish rapport. Coming from a similar Asian background, she reminds me a lot of my mom, who also goes to her for services.
