Been going to Blake's for haircuts for the last 8 or 9 years. Easy to get an appointment even on a Saturday if you call a couple of days ahead. Blake cuts my hair as I ask and it always comes out looking great. Highly recommend.

An absolute gem of a legitimate barber shop with the pole out front and all. I was immediately sat in the nicest man you could ask to meet's barber chair and had a great time/experience all around. Could easily have been charged double but was pleasantly surprised with the level of professionalism and experienced and skilled craftsmanship I received. I was hoping that it would be a short wait and possibly a longer time getting everything done I saw on the table but was very happy with my experience. It was better than I could have hoped. Look folks, if you're going to this place looking for the latest "trends" or require a complicated haircut, this is not the joint for you. That said, if you are just a regular Joe and just need a "normal" men's haircut, this guy is perfect. Always friendly, never fussy and a genuinely decent person to talk to. I work in Lawrence and live in southern JOCO and this is the only cat I will drive to see, and there are a lot of places in between. Never been unhappy with the job Blake does. The first time I went there and didn't have cash, he didn't have an issue with me running to the ATM to pay him and this was after he cut my hair! Most places would of flipped out over this.
