Known the Stephensons for about 5 years. Charismatic, honest, and their work is high quality. After Rick’s help on our home project, we definitely would’ve still been going with Stephenson’s Complete Home Repair today if we hadn’t moved away from Missouri.
Rick did an amazing interior paint job for my home! He was super professional and cleaned up everything afterward. His cutting along the ceiling was very precise. Highly recommend him for any job and look forward for any other projects I can have him do!
We hired a professional to finish our basement. The drywall he subcontracted out was a mess, kitchenette wall from back to front was 3-4 inches off, not a complete square, the shower he installed had to be ripped out due to drain issues that weren't tested prior to installation, my bedroom door was supposed to be a barn door, but the wall is not straight,one side of the barn door kit will have to be adjusted to allow for a door to be closed properly. Subcontractors put bags of trash in my backyard, spit on my basement floor, left my storage room a complete dusty, paint spilled mess, broke my back gate on my fence and climbed through my basement window. All of my water lines do not have a finish ring. I had to take pictures of woodwork that had marks and gouges on, wall in my bathroom that had gouges in the sheet rock and ask for a walk through to fix these items. All of which were built by him. I had a simple strip light installed under my kitchen cabinet which is now hanging by the cord. It was installed using tape. The drain in my kitchen is higher than the bottom of the kitchen sink making drain connections impossible. I was told in detail how I could fix this myself, cutting a pipe, taking off j hooks, etc which is why I paid a professional to finish my basement. No one will hook up water to my kitchen sink until this has been fixed the right way. I have to pay a plumber now to come in and correct this which includes putting another hole in my brand new cabinet as well as brand new wall. I was told this was my fault when he put a drain too high for any kitchen. I obviously will not use Rick again or recommend him. Unfortunately, we also use Rick to install our Christmas lights every year which now we will not be doing anymore. Very frustrated, disappointed and now have to pay someone else to fix all of this.
