All i can tell you is it’s worth it. i been training for almost two years and don’t regret a second of it. Kenukan academy is no Mc Dojo so if you wanna learn martial arts learn from great sensei’s and great student try Kenukan it will improve health and quality of life if your consistent.

I joined the Kenukan family 25+ years ago then ended up moving out of state. I was excited to resume my training after I moved back to KC and signed my son up as well.Sensei Travis is able to share his impressive martial arts knowledge and skills by providing detailed instruction that improves your proficiency in your selected discipline whether it be grappling/striking/self-defense or all of the above. The training at Kenukan is top notch and I always look forward to attending class!Whether your goal is to learn to defend yourself or become a better martial artist, Kenukan can help you get there if you are willing to put in the work.

My wife and I have been going to Kenukan for almost a year and love it! Sensei Boggs is very knowledgeable and effective at teaching a range of martial arts skills, from traditional to modern combat sports and self-defense. He, along with all of the other students, create a very welcoming atmosphere that makes us eager to come back each week to learn more.
