Muskrats stealing bait from kids, mold, non compliant clubhouse that smells of mold, an apparent raw sewage leak, a county inspector closed the pool because it was at .12% ppm vs the 3-5 ppm for chlorine that's recommended. Tons of cut feet, and because the restrooms are so absolutely disgusting, people pee in the pool. Add in the poopy baby diapers because they never opened the baby pool. So many sick people. It was basically like swimming in hose water full of blood and excrement. It's a racket. Ask to see financial documents - receipts, tax returns, etc, for all of the 15 or so LLCs that make the place up. You won't see them. Come residents have hired an attorney and apparently she asked months ago. Still has not received them, but their lawyer did make sure she knew the breach of fiduciary duty statute was two years... Umm... I thought that was an odd comment.Somewhere around 2.5 million a year in dues are paid by residents.kansascity.com/news/loca…
All smoke and mirrors, in Cedar Creek! Take it from homeowners, horrendous HOA overreach, developer controlled and management company that is ineffective. Just to name a few.Talk to people that live here You've been warned
We build what we thought was going to be our forever house on a perfect lot in Cedar Creek. Come to find out everything the neighborhood realtor said to us and our realtor was a lie. We were extremely specific about the lot we wanted, and chose one of the more expensive ones available because it. This lot should have been a wooded one that never backed up to anyone else, at least according to their realtor. Halfway through our build we discovered they were clearing trees and building a new section of our subdivision behind our house! When we asked the developers about this all we got was "sorry, and if you want to sue us, go right ahead".I would never build or buy another house in this neighborhood again. A process that should be so exciting, like building your dream home, turned into a terrible experience that we get reminded of everyday when we look out our back door.
