I been seeing Amirani now for just over a year. Not impressed at all. Try to call their office, let me know how that works for you. Have your pharmacy renew a prescription from Amirani, another thing that don't work very well. Try to get a hold of billing about a claim that they submitted that you DID NOT receive service for, there's another thing that's pretty much impossible. Seems to me the practice is a complete mess. Gonna have my PCP refer me a different cardiologist.

I would not recommend this practice because the staff are unresponsive and, in my opinion, unprofessional. My wife has needed cardiac clearance twice now and both times they failed to give clearance until the day before the scheduled procedures. She was assured that the clearances would be sent but had to leave numerous messages which were not responded to at all. I would give them zero stars if it was an option.

Dr.Amirani thought I was someone else when he came into the room talking about adjusting my medication. I was not on the medication he was speaking about. He never asked about my symptoms and was always in a rush. I never felt like he was listening to me. I called 4 times and left detailed messages each time over a month and not 1 call was ever returned. I even drove back to Newton, a 40 min. drive and left a message with the receptionist, as well. You have other options- use them.
