Last minute braids for an event- I was in and out in record time and very happy with the results! Did I mention that these were put in with zero pain? She is very skillful and it was a relaxing experience!
Edit:2nd visit- went in for a shampoo conditioner and cut- decided to go short for once and told her to just chop it :) she worked with my natural wavy curly hair and added some leave in conditioner- I'm quite happy with my summer 'do!
My son is autistic and Chris cut his hair with so much understanding and compassion that she made the experience extremely pleasant for my kiddo who usually panics badly when he gets his hair cut. This was the first time my son has ever gotten his hair cut without any kind of panic attack. Thank you so, so much Chris for such an amazing experience! I cannot recommend a better place to go to get our hair done!
I took my dog to JD a few months ago for a 3 week board and train program. My dog is a 3 year old mixed breed (Husky, Australian Shepherd, Labrador, and Pitbull). This was a life changing investment for the both of us. Primarily, my hope for this was to be able to comfortably take my dog for stress free walks to help get him the exercise he needs. JD exceeded my expectations by miles. Not only am I able to walk my dog freely now, but he has also become much more responsive to my commands. His recall improved dramatically and his anxiety has become much more manageable, especially when on walks.
The day I picked up my dog, we went for a walk as soon as we got home. About 5 minutes into our walk we came across a dog who was off leash. Normally this would be an extremely stressful event for us, but my dog handled it like a champ. He was able to keep calm and kept his focus on me until the other dog owner was able to recall their pup. This was something I never thought would be possible due to how anxious he has always been, especially around dogs he’s unfamiliar with.
JD does a lot to educate dog owners as well. Not only did he provide me with a training collar and coaching to make the transition easy, but he also uploaded YouTube videos for me to follow along with during the training process. These were very educational and it was awesome to follow with the progress in real time. Additionally, JD gave me lots of advice to continue training into the future. JD clearly knows dogs well and I’ll forever be grateful for what he’s done for my dog and I.
It’s been a few years since I boarded my sweet boy but he was so loved while I was gone. He had some special behavior needs and Mikel was fantastic with him. He had a great time and she kept me updated during my trip. She’s the only place I would take my dog!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
It's walk-in only but the providers & staff are amazing. When my dog needed surgery they took great care of him.

We got a seed and fertilizer spreader. It needed some work done to their equipment. The tire was just about to fall off. Lost a bolt on the tire. The other five were loose so we tightened it up. Also the drive belt fell off twice.
Like I said before the equipment needs help.

My friend had a plane to catch when her dog who was at a bording place had an issue and needed to see the vet. Mulvane Animal Clinic is where the dog goes for vet care. I was able to help out and pick the dog up and take her to see the vet. I sure didn't know what to expect, but my neighbor made calls to make things easier. The front desk, the Vet and student Vet were so gentle with the dog, and she stayed pretty calm. They treated ME with kindness too. I of course wasn't much help, but they told me more than once they appreciated me bring the dog in. That was just NICE, you know!
My friend said her pets have used this clinic for years. I could see why.
I called them today to ask a couple of questions. One @ cost of a vaccination and options on a regular prevention med. The receptionist listened and replied with answers that made sense and didn't make me feel like I was an intrusion on her schedule.

I have been using Ark Valley Plumbing on my house as well as an investment property for years. By trade, I am a building consultant who negotiates as a third party between insurance carriers and contractors, and I have been performing this work for over 20 years. Part of my job is to review contractor invoicing for continuity in work performed and alignment with current market rates. Tony is so consistently within 3-5% of the current standard market labor rate that I don't even bother cross-referencing anymore. His equipment and fuel surcharges are always in line with typical allowances, and his material markup is always in line with industry standard markup practices (yes...contractors must include equipment surcharges to purchase/maintain large equipment, and mark up materials above their costs to cover their time ordering, supplying, keeping inventory, etc.). Where the real savings occur is in his experience to diagnose an issue efficiently and fix the issue in a timely manner. He is never standing around or moving slowly. In fact, he may be one of the quickest, most efficient contractors with whom I have ever worked. So whatever small deviation his labor rate may be from the current market rate, is made up in multiples by his experience and efficiency to perform quality work. And that's a trade I'll take every day of the week.
