I have been in this business for 29 years, as of this past July, and over that time I have worked with only a handful of attorneys. Most of those relationships ended because of retirement, firm acquisitions, or other natural transitions.

I have always believed that when it comes to specialized areas such as derivatives and securities, you are better served by working with counsel who truly practices in that area rather than a generalist. I have been fortunate to have some very good attorneys over the years, including one long-standing relationship that I have always considered among the best.
