I rarely take the time to write reviews. Fairly cheap is the only good thing. This place always has a reason to not be open, be closed during regular hours, not have someone at the front desk while you wait for 20 minutes. It has a monopoly on drycleaning in Manhattan because as of now there’s no one else in town otherwise they’ll be put out of business. Currently I’m hear once again, lights are on inside and I can hear machines running but the front door is locked during open hours.—->Update. 2 weeks later I came back. Wow. Never, ever, ever, ever again. I left my clothes on Tuesday, back on Friday afternoon for scheduled pickup & the owner said they hadn't got to my clothes yet. Don't bother calling, apparently the staff at Stickel's isn't big on answering their phone. Don't believe me? Call & experience the wonders of an endlessly ringing business phone for yourself!I'm back four hours later - spent the first 20 minutes wandering about & hollering but there's no one up front -& no staff to be foundSo, now I've been here 45 minutes - they have my coat, It's been cleaned but my three shirts are still soaking wet.
