The eye exam was very thorough. I was impressed with the time and care that was taken. However, the customer service was very disappointing. I would not recommend using them when purchasing either glasses or contacts.

We had a great first experience at Eye Care Associates! My 11 year old daughter had never been to the eye doctor before and when we left she said "I thought that could be awful but it was actually fun and interesting!" Dr. Matthew Stanley patiently explained things to her step by step and he was very kind. She also noticed how he directed the conversation to her as the patient even tho she is only 11 and didn't just speak around her to me, her Mom. That meant a lot to her. I also appreciated that there was no pressure to purchase our eyewear there and he gave us a copy of our prescription at the end. Yet, he laid out all of our options and pricing and next steps. We would highly recommend!!

This isn't your typical everything was perfect scenario. I purchased a pair of glasses and I am over 45 so basically I needed glasses for both far and near distances . I have had progressive pair in the past and I hated them never wore them. I got progressives this time and in my mind they were not right at all and took them back. Eyecare Associates have exchanged my glasses 3 times before I decided it was just me (some people have picky brains my words not theirs) and went with single vision which worked perfectly for me (I just take them off to read). Each and every time they were pleasant, kind, understanding and willing to do what it takes to make it right not once did they make me feel I was a bother. That says alot about a business they care about people, passionate about what they do and not the bottom line. Thank you Eye Care Associates of Manhattan I will recommend you to everyone!
