I have curly hair and I am pretty particular with who cuts my hair. I am so grateful Julie was available that day and met and exceeded all expectations. She was so careful and took great care during my curl reboot treatment, giving the full service experience. When it came to cutting and styling, she walked me through the steps, her plans, then executed them wonderfully. When I offered a suggestion, Julie took it gracefully and respected the suggestion. I will gladly be going back to Julie and Jennifer since Jennifer is her mentor and Julie is relocating soon.
Jennifer did an absolutely amazing job with my hair today. I had made the huge mistake of putting (what I thought was copper) arctic fox on my hair and ended up with firetruck red. I decided I just wanted to go back to brown and she was able to very graciously squeeze me in and fix my hair for me. I love my hair, and she made the whole experience amazing. I was so embarrassed and she made me feel so comfortable. Thank you so much Jennifer!
So impressed with this salon! I recently moved to Manhattan and found Jennifer on TikTok. I have dense and curly textured hair so I am very particular with my stylist. She took the time to learn my hair habits, educate me on the products, and make recommendations for the future. I also had a BALL in the chair! She is kind, funny, and makes you feel at home. With one appointment, she now has a customer for as long as I live in MHK.
