Friendly, knowledgeable, honest staff. My first contact with them was a few years back when I'd scratched one lens on my prescription glasses (expensive & bought elsewhere). Wanted to know if the scratch could be polished out. They advised no because it would damage the coating and the diopter. This month I needed to get a pair of readers to tide me over until vision insurance starts in a few months. I insisted—against their advice, on 3.0 diopter lenses thinking bigger is better. 2 days later I was back to return them due to headaches when worn longer than a couple of hours. They suggested a lower diopter of 2.5 before giving up and that did the trick. I can read again without strain or headaches. 5 ⭐'s in my book and I'll be back when I'm ready for a new prescription pair.

We visited Alex's Affordable Eyewear today looking for glasses for my 21 month old who is in need of her first pair of glasses. The owner helped us and told me right away what she thought we needed, and that she didn't currently have those frames. She could have ordered them in for us, but instead she went above and beyond to help me get to the right place today to get the glasses my daughter needed quickly. She called the place she was sending me to, made sure they had what I needed, that it was okay for me to come in today, and even verified that they would accept my insurance. I was very impressed with the high quality of service we received at Alex's today, especially knowing she wasn't making a sale in the process, she just wanted to make sure we got the right glasses for my daughter.

Great service and amazing patience with me because I like to try on 100 pairs. I just recently purchased some blue light glasses to use while working from home. They had a good selection of colors to choose from. I would recommend Mindy and her team to anyone looking to purchase glasses or blue light glasses.
