“I have started this review a couple times, and failed to finish because I didn’t feel like my words did my experience justice. I was lucky enough to land in CJ’s chair this week. From start to finish she made me feel so very welcome and at ease. This made me feel that ‘Shelter’ happened to be the most fitting, perfect name for them. She took the time to ask me all the questions regarding my hair wants/needs, and took the time to explain things to me. (So did her lovely assistant). I’ve never looked in the mirror at the end of a hair appointment and had my entire face light up. She is most definitely a hair artist/wizard. Can’t put into words how much I love my hair. I got service from this gorgeous lady Kara, who was above and beyond, she has wonderful advice and got excellent care of my messy curly hair, and all for a good cause, she took my curls and arranged the whole process to donate my hair to children with hair loss due to medical reasons and she was just fantastic and did miracles with my hair that I didn't even know were possible. She was super nice and kind and left me with a haircut worthy of a superstar. So, if you need to take care of your hair or pamper yourself up, this is the place to go, they will treat you like royalty.
