Dr. Cooper and his staff are the most compassionate, reliable, knowledgeable veterinarians in i feel all of the State of Kansas. I lost a support dog a few months ago and these people took care of everything for me. They made her a wonderful memorial that I have on my bedside table. It was if my dog was one of their own animals. They put a lot of work and thought with my son and his wife's help into making her death a beautiful memory that when I pass away she will be with me forever. I’m really grateful that independence has this place. Dr. Cooper is very professional with our animals and is patient with me, as I usually have a lot of questions. They called to check up on one of our cats, and that meant a lot to me. They also fit me in on a day when I was especially concerned about one of my kitties, even though they were booked for that day already.
I have even brought in a chicken and Dr. Cooper helped her and was reasonable about the price for it.

Barta has been our family animal hospital for over 20 years and they are very caring, informative and reliable with each one of our pets. Over the years they have cared for our horses, goats, dogs and cats. We trust and appreciate them!
