Robert Brogden's Hays GMC is a friendly and helpful dealership located in Hays, Kansas. The sales and service staff work hard to provide a great experience for their customers. They were able to get a customer the exact truck they wanted from another dealership, and the whole team, including the salesman, sales manager, and finance manager, worked together to make the process smooth. When a customer was experiencing issues with their 2022 GMC Canyon while traveling, the dealership, especially Scott Plannenstiel, took the time and effort to have a technician look at and fix the truck, even late in the day. Customers have praised the honesty and friendliness of the staff, particularly Tony, who was described as very honest, friendly, and funny. The service department, led by Josh, was also quick to address any issues, such as recalibrating the computer to fix a tire pressure monitoring system light. Overall, Robert Brogden's Hays GMC is a highly recommended dealership that goes above and beyond to make customers feel welcome, comfortable, and treated fairly, without any high-pressure sales tactics.
Credit to the service department, I had an issue they scheduled me an appointment in adequate time frame. The technician diagnosed the issue in no time! I did not proceed to have it fixed right then and there due to the shocking cost of the part. To no fault of the service department thats not their doing. The high note of this encounter was the service man did not try and persuade me to no end. He simply reminded me they could have it replaced in short time if I chose to. I said no thanks and we finished the transaction and I was on my way!!
Josh and the service department were an incredible help. We were traveling from Jonesboro, Arkansas, to Estes Park, Colorado, on our honeymoon and our car broke down just outside of Russell, Kansas. We had issues getting a rental due to not having a credit card on hand (only cash and debit), and were practically stuck. The service department fit us in the same day to try and see if anything could be done. They did their best to get us help. Sadly, it seemed like the repair work and getting the parts in were just going to take too long for us to wait around. On our way home from Colorado Friday night the front of our GMC Yukon began to make a grinding noise that we could feel. We felt so blessed to have Scott the service manager and Callen the tech to work us in on a Saturday morning when they were already booked for the day. The wheel bearing went out. Highly appreciated and recommend.Thanks guys!!!
