The equipment was great, and the service was excellent. The rooms for standing beds are extremely small - like being in an extremely small closet. They give 5 minutes to get undressed & apply lotion - i had to ask for more time. The decor is hawaiian-tiki style, which felt a lot like cultural appropriation. music was also really loud, and not exactly to my liking. I used a hybrid bed with red light & regular UV tanning bulbs.

Good stand ups. Clean. Friendly. Expensive. $$$ nothing wrong with Safari. I like them but I wish the bed was better. I go for pain and inflammation some days standing isn’t very comfortable but I like the effects from the standup better. I really wish Valpo had more options to choose from. I did find other options for cost friendly alternatives!!

If you're looking to get a tan from a tanning salon, Safari Beach Tan is pretty decent. With the exception of a lay down Turbo Bed, all tanning is done standing up. Prices aren't terrible either. It's cheaper than some and more expensive than others, just like everything else in life.
