Harsha Behavioral Center doesn't get enough credit for the work they do. Every employee that I interacted with was kind, despite being heavily overworked. We've got no idea what goes on in the background but I'll tell you 100% that if you want to do the work and get better, this is the place to be. They don't control anything other than your schedule and meds, so it's up to the patient to better themselves. It wasn't where I wanted to be, but it's where I needed to be in that moment. Always grateful for their help.

Harsha Behavioral Center provided exceptional care for my son during his first-ever inpatient stay, and we are deeply grateful for the support we received.
My son is on the autism spectrum, and Harsha’s child psychiatrist, Dr. Hinshaw, understood his needs from day one. They made thoughtful medication adjustments that genuinely helped him stabilize, and they approached him with patience, structure, and compassion. He told us more than once that Harsha “felt like a healing place,” which meant everything to us as parents.

My son was there for about 6 days on Friday my son cashed me and says mom the guy with the black shirt had me in the floor he pinched my skin so I could walk, he strap me in the chair for a long time so I could calm my self and mock me because of me breathing heavily( my son has asthma ) When I get there to pick him up he says the same thing I ask is they know the name of the person no body knows. Also I sent him with 3 pairs of pants 3 tshirts 1 sweater 5 pair of under clothe. And they say he didn't have anything like that only cane back with a pair of pants that he had on and said we can't find it. I can't believe they can't find his belongings... read full review
