Dan and his team just completed a 6-month remodel on the inside of our house. They are true professionals and a joy to work with. Here’s a little more about our overall experience: -- Beautiful craftsmanship. We had a lot of custom work done including a new fireplace, new staircase, wainscoting and window casings. It all looks stunning. Their attention to detail is unmatched. They crafted every area with such care and precision. It was eye-opening how long specific projects took to do, but then we watched all the steps required to make it perfect and then completely understood why it took so much time. -- Everyone treated our home like it was their own. We often peeked into the house after hours to watch the progress and they always left the house tidy at the end of every day. They swept and made sure their tools and work areas looked neat. It’s a small detail, but an important one. They also always put the proper coverings on the floor or walls to ensure nothing was damaged in the demo and construction phases. -- Dan provided needed guidance and counsel. As our general contractor, Dan was open with us about the projects we were asking for. If he didn’t agree with something we wanted to do, he voiced it. If there was a better way, or sometimes more cost effective way to do something that didn’t reduce the quality of the job, he would suggest it. He did his best to balance what we wanted with what made the most sense for the project. -- Dan was a great barrier between us and the subcontractors. Issues are bound to arise when you’re dealing with subcontractors working on very specific jobs throughout the house. Dan is like Yoda when it comes to working with subcontractors. He has a very special and dialed-in way of working with them and us to make sure everyone felt taken care of. -- They’re just really nice people. Dan and his team are incredibly kind. All were very personable and a joy to be around. They made this processes very special for us. They also did jobs outside of our scope to sweeten the experience. For example, Dan built a panel of wainscoting up the stairs as a gift to us and it really makes our entry way and living room pop. They're also going to come back and hang pictures and paintings for us when we're ready. Just a really stand-up team.

I have hired other contractors in the past and they never matched the quality of work Dan Carr and his craftsman do. Dan is able to take what you want and through his designs and talent, make it a reality. Dan and his crew are courteous, trustworthy, and conscientious. Dan and crew build and remodel homes as if it were their own home, paying attention to every detail. Not only do we love our remodeled rooms, we now have new friends in Dan, Jeanine, and crew. Dan and his crew are wonderful to work with. We gave a vision and the outcome is absolutely stunning! They show up on time everyday and are the most respectful group of contractors. They go above and beyond when cleaning up at the end of each day. The whole team did a fantastic job on our project!!!
