“Our house was built in 1980. After living there for several years we began to get an occasional small leak in the corner of our family room when it rained hard with a strong west wind. The problem seemed to be where the second story wall came down and met the garage roof. Several attempts of caulking and patching didn't fix it. After the hailstorm in the year 2000 we had the shingles replaced. I told the roofing crew about the leak problem to see if they could fix the problem. They could not find any obvious problem. The problem disappeared for a while and then came back. It was not a major leak but annoying. In the year 2020 we had Ace Construction replace the shingles again. I did not mention anything about the leak along the garage roof. It is now 2026 and we have not had any signs of a leak. I didn't want to thank them right away until I was sure the leak was gone. After the recent rain that caused the flooding. I am pretty sure the problem has been fixed. It was a small crew that did the work. They installed new drip edge, box vents, painted existing power vents, installed new ridge vent on the sunroom, new felt, ice water membrane where needed, and flashing. They showed up about 7:30 and left around 4:30. There was no damage to the gutters and clean up was excellent. We are very pleased with their work and would call them again if we ever considered any other type of construction project.”
