While I could go to a regular GYN for my wellness needs, I choose to go to PP. My experiences are always 100000% better at PP than in GYN offices and I am hopeful that my presence as an insured person seeking wellness care helps to support PP. Today, I had such a lovely experience with both the intake associate and the NP. I will be sure to return! :)
I tend to be anxious in medical settings and they were very welcoming. The entire staff ai had encountered: front desk, nurse, & nurse practitioner were all very kind and caring. Very inclusive, as well. I will be using them again in the future!
Everyone at Planned Parenthood is always so kind and supportive, and they've done so much to improve my life. I go there for trans care (you have to be 18+ for their informed consent) and the process was so much smoother than I expected. I think the way they do things should be both the norm and the gold standard, and I wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone 18+ looking for gender affirming care. I could talk all day about how much more comfortable I feel in my own body and what a difference that makes in my ability to live a happy and fulfilling life, but I want to focus on the care PP provides.
