My Husband received his diagnosis, December 2022. No one is ever really prepared for Cancer. But, once you know - you have to be on the ground running…How fortunate we have been - to have such a great team of physicians, nurses and staff taking care of my Husband, at the Baptist Health Floyd Cancer Center.Dr. Alfonso Cervera, is my Husbands Oncologist and has provided phenomenal care! We are beyond impressed, with his professionalism, genuineness and knowledge he has continued to provide. I was diagnosed with breast cancer in Jan 2023. Dr Okeke was helpful in getting me in & another mri/with contrast. They caught it early. I'll have a lumpectomy soon & then radiation. It's only 1.5 cm. I was so scared when I was told I had cancer but Dr okeke & Jill were very supportive. Told me all I needed to know. Jill is exceptionally helpful & comforting. I'm feeling little less stressed. Pray for me I'm leaving all my health issues in God's hands now.
I was diagnosed with Colon cancer that spread to my left lung on April 1st of 2021 and was referred to Dr, Gill and I'm so thankful that he's my dr. The nurses are so caring and my wait time isn't bad at all. The Lab techs are awesome and very easy when they take blood.I had my first chemotherapy yesterday 08/12/2021. The nurses was Awesome as well. They knew I was nervous and scared and they talked with me, checked on me and when I started to have a side effect and i didn't know what was going on, my husband went out there and told me and five nurses came rushing in ready to help me.They are THE BEST!!!!
