Dr. Demetrius Karamichos is the GREATEST. He is a great listener, empathetic, truthful, honest & will get you excellent results for your legs. Dr. Karamichos treated me 10 years ago at Vein Clinics of America for varicose veins. After the outstanding treatment, I refuse to have another doctor treat me. After having chemo, I develop fluid retention in the lower extremities. Decided to return back to Vein Clinics of America. I have been wanting to have my varicose veins taken care of for over 10 years. I’ve had 4 consults over the years. I had an appointment to have VenaSeal at Vein clinics of America in Orland Park. I waited for close to an hour at my initial consult and talked to the Dr. for less then 2 minutes. He called me to apologize and explained things over the phone. I made another appt when I was told he was leaving in one month after my vein mapping was completed. I decided they were not a good fit for me. I then researched again and found Region Vein in Munster. They were ranked #1 in the region and I could see why. Rose was the insurance specialist and made all of my appts....read full review
