One of better record stores I’ve come across worldwide! Travis is super knowledgeable and helpful. Carries a wide, clean, and curated variety of genres, both new and used. This place totally deserves your support.
My favorite record shop, hands down, no contest. Travis is incredibly knowledgeable and just great to talk to. During my last visit, I was looking for some recommendations, and he shared a wealth of music that I had never heard before but was also right up my alley. Village Green's selection is top notch with a very wide variety and prices are very fair considering the average cost of records. If you're anywhere near Montgomery, you have to check out Village Green Records. You will not be disappointed.
What a treasure this place is! I'm new to vinyl, despite being an audiophile and the co-host of a hi-fi related podcast (Audio Unleashed!). The thing is, I've found that the vinyl hobby isn't very beginner friendly. There's usually an assumption that you're either collecting records because it's hip or, on the other hand, you're a hardcore LP fanatic who could write a treatise about the distinctions between MM and MC phono cartridges.Travis dispelled all of that the instant I walked in the door.
