Lamont's Appliance Repair

Called made an appointment which two weeks to get appointment. Then 3 days before appointment called and said they couldn’t come and gave us to a former employee that had set up his on shop. That guy called and said he would come. He never came and would not return my call. Horrible service would not recommend this company at all.

Several years ago, when my refrigerator ice maker stopped working, I called A&E Appliance Repair, and they sent out a cocky 20-something kid who did nothing but read off of his laptop screen. He told me that I'd have to buy an entirely new freezer door, for $1,200. I quickly told him to leave, and started looking for another repair place. This is the fist time I used Lamont's. Lamont came out, and he actually looked at the refrigerator instead of reading from a computer. He very quickly figured out that the only problem was a broken wire coming out of the bottom of the freezer and going into the freezer door. He spliced the wire, and everything worked great. There's a design flaw with my particular KitchenAid refrigerator/freezer that causes these think cables to get twisted and break, but all it takes is a splice to get me back in service. After that, I've used nobody else but Lamont to service my appliances.

poor service. they don't know how to fix broken appliances. don't return phone calls.
