Had an amazing first upland bird hunt at Sugar Creek Sporting Clays & Hunting Preserve. The property is beautiful, well-managed, and the birds were flying strong. We tagged out with chukars, quail, and pheasants — couldn’t have asked for a better experience.
Huge shoutout to our guide Denny (hope I’m spelling that right) — absolutely top-tier. Knowledgeable, patient, and made the whole hunt smooth, fun, and memorable. He knew the land, the birds, and how to keep the hunt flowing perfectly.
If you’re looking for a legit upland hunting experience in Indiana, this is the place. I’ll definitely be back. 🐦🔥
Really great experience! The attention to new people is amazing. The help via phone, if needed, is invaluable. For an instruction session, they listened really well to what we wanted to learn and what our goals were. Recommended 💯 for anyone to start.
Brian and Andrea are very accosting and do a fantastic job with whatever experience you are looking for with your group. Clay range is great and clubhouse has enough room for a group. 1st time visitors over Christmas break and had some out of towners that brought German shorthair hair hunting dog and were very impressed with experience. Will definitely be back when they come through for the holidays.
