Millwood Roofing And Construction Roofing

“We called Millwood out on a Sat with what we thought was a roof leaking problem. It wasn't a bad roof but still a labor intensive job. They were here within 2 weeks. Finished in 1 day. Very professional. Cleaned up their mess. Explained what they were doing every step of the way and the price was very reasonable. I couldn't more highly recommend this fine company“

Pro Time Metal Roofing Roofing

“Just had our roof done by this exceptional team. I cannot express how pleased we are, not only with the end result, but simply working with this company. Here's why:
* They met all our needs, were prompt and provided best in class service.
* They did what they said they'd do, provided true honesty, acted with integrity and didn't try to oversell us.
* Their price for a concealed metal roof was in line with some shingle quotes we received! (For real!) And worth every penny!
* The crew, hands down- skilled, professional, organized and just the best I've seen. They had our roof done in 8 hours, cleaned up and were so kind. These aren't subcontracted groups- these crews are direct employees and are the heart of Pro- Time. They put their best forward the entire job and it shows! Thanks guys, you did awesome!
Go local, drive around and see their craftsmanship for yourself, you won't regret it.“

Stump Metal Roofing Roofing

“I found Stump Metal Roofing on the web - I had no previous experience with them but I needed a roof on a small airplane hanger. I was familiar with standing seam on larger buildings but did not realize it could be done on a smaller scale. Their price was 20% higher than the lowest R-channel roofing bid (they were lower than some) but given the advantage of standing seam I felt it was worth it.
They were everything I hoped for in a good contractor. They were responsive, they kept the job site in order (it took several days) and they cleaned up afterward. There were no surprises and I got a quality job. I checked the site after they left and there was nothing left behind to create a flat tire - nothing! No question I would use them again.
Just a quick comment about their product if you have never heard of "standing seam". Historical metal roofs using "R" channel involve hundreds of screws to hold down the metal which are exposed on the surface of the roof. Rubber washers are usually involved on each screw. The problems is the fact that all metal expands when it is heated and contracts when it is cooled. If the rubber washers don't deteriorate by the sun's UV rays over time, you still have the pressure put on the single point hole of the screw as the metal expands (or contracts) and wants to move. Over time the holes can be ever so slightly enlarged because of this. Enlarged holes combined with a deteriorated washer (from the sun's UV) are a recipe for a leak path. It may take 10-20 years, but it can happen.
Standing seam stops all of this by giving the screws a slot so if the metal needs to expand or contract it can. The enlarged slots are not a problem because they are all covered by the next panel and not exposed to the weather - you see no screws on the roof (nothing exposed to sun UV or to weather) because they are underneath and covered by the next panel put down. The locking mechanism created by the standing seam assures that the panels are down for good. This is a common strategy used on commercial building and I am glad to see it is available on a more residential level.“
