Amber was great. Walked in nervous about cutting my hair short and now I left happy with this new do. Everyone there was sweet and nice. I'll be going back more often. Thanks for a great do.

I went into Penney's today to look for a winter coat. I was overwhelmed by the huge selection-even in the Big and Tall department. I found a beautiful coat for $140.00, but it was on sale for 40% off! That's a huge savings for late October-going into the winter season. When I got to the register, the clerk (I believe her name was Sandra) was able to give me an additional 25% off if I applied for a JCP credit card. I don't usually use credit cards, but I got this one, just to save on the coat. I ended up paying less than $70 for a coat that would have been $150 if I paid full retail for it. Some JCPenney stores seem to be awesome, good, and total junk. This is one of the awesome ones! I love going into a JCPenney further away from the malls I normally frequent (Hawthorn Mall and Woodfield Mall) and think "Oh wow! They don't have this by me!". The plus size section is massive compared to anything I've seen elsewhere. I ended up getting some great jewelry, a nice sweater, and some new jeans. This store was really nice. Merrillville is about an hour and a half drive. So, if I'm looking to do an all day shop-a-thon, I would gladly come back here!
