This organization is founded & run by angels. They are quick to respond, compassionate, organized & run like a well-oiled machine. Yes, there is paperwork one must fill out to surrender an animal, but what there isn't is judgment or belittling. They were the first to respond of four organizations I reached out to. My email was addressed & I was contacted by a great listener who put me in touch with the people who would take in the pregnant lab I came upon. We adopted from LLR 8 years ago, and they are a great organization that works very hard to save dogs! They are a very worthy organization to support; we will definitely adopt from them again.
Lucky lab is an awesome rescue. It is disheartening to see the negative reviews. We have adopted several dogs through this rescue and the volunteers have all been professional and wonderful to work with. They are caring and compassionate and take excellent care of the puppies. Sounds like a lot of people who just can't accept their guidelines that are put in place to keep dogs safe. If you don't like their adoption policies then move on. But giving the one star review says more about you and less about the hard working volunteers that sacrifice physically and emotionally to save dogs. Your crybaby reviews hurt the dogs and all because you didn't get your way. I love my labs and I am eternally grateful that lucky lab saved them from certain death! I have nothing but the utmost respect for people who dedicate their lives to save animals in dire need.
