I have not managed to get a good haircut for the past several years, until I went here. Not to mention how cheap it is, only 15 dollars for what I got! Im not going anywhere else from now on, this place is on a whole different level!
Tiny house barbershop with the full on Hallmark Christmas movie setup: feels like the set for that first scene where the New York lawyer who left the Big Apple to find what she really wants out of life will walk in and mistakenly ask for a pedicure before being informed this isa small city Midwestville haircut shop. She then starts a random conversation about how unbelievable free parking is in a downtown area while slowly falling for this curiously lowly Mathew guy. I dropped in in the hopes for discovering a new go to snip spot for my unusual needs which Haircut Corner, Supercuts, Sports Clips, and a couple others couldn't keep on due to their high prices, inconsistency, and Haircut Corner's poor employee treatment. I did did an extra friendly and enjoyable time here that treated my do well enough but not quite where I want it. Have moved on to, big surprise, Great Clips on the Levey since Susie is the first over over fifteen to have no qualms tackling my frizzy mess. Am still thankful Mathew's Barbershop exists and can easily recommend for all the basic hair needs looking for that extra homespun service in a rare corporate free zone.
I have always received top notch service at Mathews Barber Shop. Brett is a skilled barber that will listen to your requests, and provides a great cut at a reasonable price. His associates seem to have steady clientele that are pleased with their results as well.
