Great Clips

My 17 year old grandson is autistic and does not like his hair cut or messed with because of the Sensory Integration issues so often associated with autism. Great clips has cut his hair the last six times it has been cut. All six times, it was his insistence to get it cut. He has never done this voluntarily before.They always do a great job, and his hair always looks great. We have been to three different great clips with the same outcome. We are customers for life.

Hair dresser was professional and fun. Cut my 8 yr olds hair as requested. She had him talking by the end of it. He was not thrilled to be there. But she made him comfortable. I appreciated that.

My youngest son (almost 2yrs old) has autism and sensory processing disorder, we were very worried about getting his first haircut as he does not like his head/ears touched. We walked in to Great Clips greeted by Karen, I explained to her the situation and without hesitation she was ready to try. She was patient, went on his time and cues. He likes the vibrations of things so she let him feel the clippers before she went further and that right there helped 100%. She did so well with his first haircut that we came back for his second haircut a few months later hoping she would be there and thankfully she was and cut his hair again!
