When I first started coming to Centers for Pain Control back in 2017, I had an absolutely terrible experience with the Doctor I was seeing. My issues were not being properly addressed and long story short, was literally treated like my pain was all in my head. I understand I am young (age 33 now but was age 26-27 at the time) however, that doesn't mean I making up my issues. I stopped seeking treatment for 6 years and told myself I would never come back. I give a 4 star review because I'm not able to give a separate review for each practitioner I've seen there. The np I saw for my pain management already had rehearsed what she was going to say before I got in the room,and my imaging(x-rays and MRI) not anything I said mattered.I have been given very insufficient care for my needs. I was having problems understanding the medication that I'm on and the nursing staff along with Dr.Maxfield helped me considerably.. They walked me through how I should take all my medication.. Not just my pain medicine.. I owe a lot to everyone at the LaPorte office.. Thanks for all the care you have shown me..
