Gathering Place is a charming venue perfect for various events, including graduation parties and family gatherings. It is well-maintained, clean, and offers ample space for decorations and activities. With a kitchen, clean bathrooms, and a setup that allows for potluck meals and a coffee and soda bar, it caters well to different needs. While the air conditioning can make it difficult to hear speakers, the owner is friendly and easy to work with. However, its location is a bit far from Merrillville and Gary, which may be a consideration for some visitors. Overall, it is a lovely space for memorable occasions.
We had my sons graduation party here. It’s a very nice hall! The owner is super nice, easy to work with. The tables were all set up, we just had to decorate. It has plenty of space (my pic doesn’t even show all the other space available) a kitchen, nice clean bathrooms. I’m so glad we had it here!!!
Great hall for rent! Roomy, nicely decorated, big kitchen, bar area, lots of tables and chairs available... Very nice place to host something as small as a birthday party or as large as a wedding! I've actually attended both there!
We hosted our Daughter's wedding Shower here recently and were pleasantly surprised with the absolute cleanliness and sprawling well decorated area.... Will definitely consider for future gatherings.
