Many clients appreciate the reasonable prices and the flexibility of the staff, who are friendly and helpful. The clinic is highly recommended for all pet needs, including spaying and neutering. Clients have been bringing their pets to Hartford for years, often traveling long distances because of the quality of care. While the prices are decent and comparable to other vets, some clients have noted issues with the prescription services, particularly regarding the inability to obtain prescriptions for medications elsewhere. From the very first visit i was impressed before we left the people at the front desk came up and loved on our puppy and I would recommend Dr. Mackenzie Kennedy!!! She is great at handling dogs and always made them feel comfortable and is very knowledgeable. She answered any questions we have and never rushed us and our puppies did very very well. We started off with one puppy and decided to get another and they were able to squeeze her in the same day and time as our other one!!! Great place to take your pets. If you call with an emergency they will make room for you. No outrageous bills. The staff is always friendly. The vets do an amazing job at making sure your pet is comfortable and as calm as possible. They always do a great job at explaining everything and making you aware of every available option for treatment.
I have been taking 3 different pets to this vet over 6 or 7 years. Hartford vet has always been a great place to come to, and we drive 40 minutes from home as they are the best in our area that we have been to. Prices are decent and not much different from other vets, and they really care about the well-being of our animals.
