I had a referral to go to physical therapy. I scheduled the appointment on Friday. Monday morning I received a call from physical therapy that if they cannot file my medicare insurance then I couldn't have an appointment. They were aware that this therapy was from a car accident inwhich I have a 3rd party bodily claim. They stated that they don't bill third parties. I asked if I could just pay for the therapy, knowing allstate would pay me back. In the end I was told they didn't care and that I just needed to go somewhere else. While in town visiting our daughter from Florida, my left knee locked in place partially bent on a Saturday afternoon, and I was taken to the hospital. After tests and an MRI, it was determined I had a serious tear in the meniscus and I was released the next day. They suggested I get with a sports orthopedic facility as soon as possible. I did some research and saw OrthoIndy had an urgent care about 20-minutes from where we were staying, so we headed over there Monday morning. When the receptionist saw my leg and the test results, she got with her boss, found out what Doctor was available that day for a consult, and made it happen. While we had to wait for a few hours to see the Surgeon, it was well worth it as I had surgery the next day, and was walking without crutches the evening of my surgery. The team at the Greenwood Clinic as well as the Main Hospital were great!
I had hip surgery and the team of doctors and nurses gave excellent service. Dr. Beckert is a brilliant, gifted surgeon with a wonderful team. Shout out to Dr. Smith anesthesiologist, Pamela RN, Kim RN, Erika CNA, Stacey RN, Candace RN, Trent PT who all treated their patients like me as family. The love and care was extraordinary. I am recovering quickly because Dr. Beckert absolutely is the best ever. The office staff is professional and efficient.
