Been going here for almost five years. It has been an absolutely amazing experience and wonderful community. I have never had a bad experience with anyone. It is an amazing place to expand your Jiu Jitsu knowledge. It has been a wonderful gateway to my BJJ career and I have made many quality friends since I joined. 10/10 would recommend.
Alan knows EVERYONE by name.We get drop-ins from all over the world.Kind people = great culturePeople that move away always come back to visit when they’re in town. This place is supportive for hobbyists AND competitors. The gym primarily consists of hobbyists, like most jiu jitsu gyms. All walks of life bless our mats.Alan still actively competes. I am so happy that I train at Alan’s gym and getting to be apart of the Carlson Gracie team. The level of instruction is incredible. Like the level of detail Alan shares when going over a technique is amazing. The atmosphere and culture is great too. The people I train with are so cool and basically a second family to me. Also Alan’s just a solid dude. Like I had cancer last year for a bit and he’d always check in with me to see how I was doing. Training here has been a blessing to me and I look forward to seeing how much I grow as a person as well as my jiu jitsu as I continue to train here.
