This place was good when dr Betty was there.I asked for new blue blocker lenses recently. I picked them up and they were just regular lenses. I didn’t get what I paid for. They told me to turn them back in and they will remake it. I got them back a week later and I have the same problem

Wonderful experience! I had a few issues with Tavel and Midwest eye consultants in Columbus not wanting to verify my insurance or claiming I didnt have insurance so I called Monroe optical and they were just amazing. The office girl made sure to verify everything with my insurance before I drove in for my appointment to make sure the process would go as smooth as possible.The eye exam was fast and accurate the eye doctor was very friendly and picking out my glasses was fast and also easy as they had hundreds of styles to choose from and the girls and gentleman that make the lenses were awesome. Two weeks ago, I made a new patient appointment, and confirmed they accepted our insurance. After 40 minutes there, they then told us they did not accept our insurance, as of yesterday. Could have explained that when they called to confirm the appointment instead of wasting our time. Exceptionally unprofessional.
