My relationship with Louisville Tree originated from buying our first home and never really thinking to look at the number of trees on the property line. Years ago a tree in our right-of-way died over the winter and needed to be removed. John recommended we call both LG&E and the state to have the tree removed before paying his company to have it taken down. Because of that honest advice I saved several thousands of dollars and we used them moving forward for all of our tree trimming business.

We've used them for the last several years for general tree trimming and they've always been exceptional to work with- always coming out multiple times for complimentary quotes, providing fast and efficient work, and lending knowledgeable advice regarding the health of our trees. Recently, one of our massive trees was brought to our attention as being very dangerous to both our house and our neighbor's. It was rapidly dying and LTS didn't feel comfortable leaving without recommending it was seriously trimmed if not removed. They would profit more from annual trimming, and in general it's my opinion that their intention is to always save trees where possible. We're very glad we reluctantly:) listened and had it fully removed. There was a section where one of the team's feet went completely through the tree.

Our house is in St. Matthews where the driveway and space for their team is very difficult. They never seem to lack a solution to get the job done, and our yard is always cleaner when they leave. The work is high quality and they take great pride in their services. Tree trimming is very costly regardless of who you go through, and rightly so- the equipment is expensive, insurance is required, and highly skilled workers put their lives at risk. I would hands down rather spend my money with a trusted company than cut cost corners. I would highly recommend this team.“
