“I’ve had my keloid for 6 years due to a bad piercing. I’ve visited numerous Doctors and made so many phone calls for consultations to get rid of my keloid. Some made me come in just to tell me they couldn’t help me and left me feeling unsure and lose hope. Being a young 18 year old girl (at the time) the last thing I wanted to hear was an unsure answer. After so many years I finally found the right Doctor. He made me feel welcoming and gained my trust. It did not take long to go through the procedure. Now as a 24yr I feel confident again. “Dr. Knable = go to him for any severe face acne/looks like severe acne/pores inflammation/hormonal skin sores: I went to easily eight board certified dermatologists, including one at a MayoClinic over eight years and Dr. Knable is the ONE Derma whom A: pushed me to try a prescription skin medicine again which didn't work for me once years ago with a strange side effect, AND was first and only to tell me a liquid Clindamycin product exists with prescription (helps SO much) B: did not first insist on a temporary relief antibiotic for treating anything he couldn't prove.. C: told me he understands any skin picking because things aren't supposed to be there.. and used his own sympathy available sharing his own past issues. D: best part: he same time told me (first DR ever) that another medicine I have taken my entire adult life could be causing my normal hormonal acne issues to be greatly exacerbated. Guess what: HE WAS RIGHT! E: I also never have to call for a refill; his staff is always already on it.
Dr. Knable is an excellent, uniquely wise dermatologist. He is at first serious but don't worry about that: he's thinking about YOUR skin. You can smile with him later when he HELPs you! : D“
